What will be the future of library design be like and why it is said that the library development in Sweden has slowed in comparison with other European countries?

Through a new Nordic network of libraries, we want to develop a vision and a plan for the future of library in Ulricehamn. We seek to study the technological advancements of libraries in Europe and apply them to our own library.  In addition, we are planning a major international library conference here in 2010. In August of 2009 we were granted 100,000 SEK in order to participate in a job and knowledge exchange with our twin towns in Denmark and Finland.
