Ulricehamn is located 100 km east of Gothenburg and is part of the Sjuhärad region. With it's location on Lake Åsunden, the town offers a relaxing, peaceful setting to spend time in, whatever the season. The manors around the lake, the Kärringarallyt shopping tour and the Falbygden-Ätradalen Ecomuseum are just some of the more well-known outings in the area.
Ulricehamn is the oldest town in the county with a genuine town centre surrounded by a thriving country district. The textile industry plays an important role in the trading life, where technical development is creating new positive conditions for the trade. Commerce, mechanical engineering and metal industry are important too.
The town and its surroundings have most things you would want to enrich your holiday experience: cycling along car-free cycle tracks, canoeing, riding, walking, golf, tennis, bowling, fishing, skiing on well-prepared slopes and ski-tracks, and excellent shopping. Good accomodation is available to suit everyone as well as pleasant restaurants and cafes.
But the biggest experience of all is when you arrive in Ulricehamn for the very first time.
